For Boys Ages 8+ (returning students) and Girls Ages 5+
The Islamic Weekend School consists of the following curriculum:
Subjects
Aqeeda – includes study of Kufr, Shirk, Nifaq
Fiqh – Ibadah and intro to Muamalat
Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (S)
Adab/Akhlaq
Dua memorization
Biographies – prophets, sahaba, sahabiya
Intro to Hadith Science – study of classification, matn, isnad, Hadith Qudsi
Tajweed
Qur’anic Recitation
Memorization of Juz Amma
Tafseer study of Juz Amma and other selected suwar
Outcomes
Students will develop a love for Allah and Islam
Students will become knowledgeable and responsible Muslims
Students will be able to articulate Islam on a critical level
Students will be trained to become teachers and mentors
Students will have a solid foundation to further their Islamic education
